In 2022, the market for Thai haircare products continued to show strong growth. According to a survey conducted from January to June 2022,* there are two product segments that are achieving significant growth. The value of the treatment segment increased by 4% to 3,180 million baht, while the hair coloring segment increased by 14% to 1,483 million baht, both of which highlight the market’s strong development prospects in Thailand for hair products in 2023. This year, the major focus is on beauty as hair color trends have shown an upturn in popularity with Thai consumers looking to revitalize their appearance following the COVID-19 pandemic, and as procedures at universities and workplaces become more flexible. In addition, the market for organic hair care products** will expand significantly as the economic recovery takes hold, especially in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
